Heiko Wilkens of astrofactum presented the project Public Telescope at the aerospace Start-up Night 'Luft- und Raumfahrt' in Berlin on November 3rd 2015.
The Federation of German aerospace industry e. V. took part in the event (BDLI) as well as the Federal Association of German Startups (BVDS). The "Start-up Night" is a networking event that brings together companies of the aerospace industry and start-up companies to enable and facilitate a mutual exchange.
State Secretary Brigitte Zypries opened the event: "The aerospace industry is a key sector for the high-tech location Germany. It has to remain innovative and competitive - and the Federal Government wants to support it. I am very pleased that during today's first 'Start-up Night Luft- und Raumfahrt' 14 start-ups are presenting themselves to well-established companies. The networking between start-ups and the established economy offers opportunities for both sides, which is why the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs would like to forster and promote the initiation of cooperations between the BDLI and the Startup Association (BVDS)."
